Cookie Policy
Short version
SiteFreeze uses strictly necessary cookies (login and secure sign-in flows) that work without consent, and — only if you accept in the cookie banner — Google Analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set at all and the analytics script is never loaded.
Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
__Host-fx_session | Keeps you logged in to your account (signed session token) | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
fx_oauth | Security (CSRF) check during Google sign-in | 10 minutes | Strictly necessary |
fx_ghoauth | Security (CSRF) check during GitHub connection | 10 minutes | Strictly necessary |
Browser storage
During a GitHub publish we may briefly keep the name of the site being published in your browser's sessionStorage (cleared automatically when used or when the tab closes). We do not use localStorage for tracking.
Analytics cookies (optional, with your consent)
If you click Accept in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.), which sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* (up to 13 months) to measure visits and conversions. IP addresses are anonymized. You can withdraw consent anytime by clearing this site's data in your browser — the banner will appear again. If you decline, nothing from Google is loaded.
Third parties
Payment pages run on checkout.stripe.com and Google/GitHub sign-in pages run on their respective domains — those sites set their own cookies under their own policies. SiteFreeze pages themselves contain no third-party trackers.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking our session cookie will simply log you out.
Changes
If we introduce any new cookies or change providers, this page will be updated and consent requested again where required.
